Claydon has awarded exclusive sales rights for the full range of Claydon Opti-Till® crop establishment products in Moldova to well-known and highly respected agricultural dealer AgroProfi S.R.L.
Formed in 2013, AgroProfi opened its first dealership and main office at Stăuceni, near the country’s capital Chișinău, in 2015. Two years later it opened a second branch at Comrat in the south of Moldova and in 2020 a third at Beltci in the north. Employing 75 staff, AgroProfi is the official Case IH dealer in Moldova and distributes a range of other leading agricultural machinery brands.
Vladimir Ghiliov, AgroProfi’s CEO, states: “We are delighted to take on the Claydon Opti-Till® range at this time as our goal is to provide customers with the best-quality, best-performing agricultural machinery so that they can operate their farming businesses more efficiently and more profitably. Our customers will appreciate the fact that Claydon products are designed by farmers, manufactured to exceptionally high standards, very versatile and eliminate the need to operate more than one drill. They are also reliable, with a low power requirement and cost of ownership”.
Anatoliy Penzin, Claydon’s National Territory Manager, adds: “Claydon are delighted to be working with a distributor with considerable experience in direct strip seeding. The agreement will enable AgroProfi’s customers to benefit from significant time, cost, and labour savings, together with considerable improvements in soil health and stability, moisture conservation and organic matter content, which will become increasingly important.”
