A. L. Agri new Claydon dealer

We are delighted to announce the appointment of A. L. Agri as the latest Claydon dealer in our partner network. Based in Ballinshoe, Forfar, A. L. Agri covers an area from north of Perth & Dundee to Stonehaven.

L-R: A. L. Agri’s Sandy Matthew and Andrew Mitchell and Claydon TM James Owen

A. L. Agri was started by Andrew Mitchell & Liam Wylie in 2016 and today holds the Case and Pottinger franchise. Currently employing 14 staff and operating four mobile workshops, the company has earned a reputation for excellent sales, parts & service support.

“The addition of the Claydon brand to our range is another significant strategic development which takes us into a product area where we were not represented,” says Andrew Mitchell. “Farmers in this region have traditionally relied on ploughing and min-till techniques to establish their crops, but with increasing focus on reducing costs, increasing efficiency and improving soil health we wanted to be positioned to meet their changing requirements.”

A. L. Agri has added a 3m Claydon M3F Evolution fertiliser drill and 6m TerraStar® to its demonstration fleet so that customers can experience the benefits of the system on their own farms. Andrew believes the 3m grain and fertiliser drill will be the most popular drill in the Claydon range as it can be used with a 150hp tractor, yet has a very high work rate, typically 20ha per day, which will be important in a region of time-critical crop establishment.
